World’s Most Expensive 1-Bedroom Apartment is up for US$ 21.8 Million

According to a new wealth report compiled by Knight Frank and Citi Private Bank, Monaco is the most expensive real estate market where buying a home is really expensive. But, this piece of news left me in complete awe as it reposts that this world’s most expensive one bedroom apartment is situated somewhere in Japan. Located in Minami-Azabu district of Tokyo, the 4,434 square foot (411.932 sq m) small apartment called ‘The House,’ is listed by Japan Sotheby’s International Realty for a cool ¥ 1.8 Billion (approx. US$ 21.8 Million). Situated in Tokyo’s most posh neighborhood of Minami-Azabu, the apartment offers world’s best amenities inside a small space.
This penthouse mansion has recently received an expensive facelift that took more than a year to get done. The luxury inferior of the apartment designed by Cecotti Collezioni includes custom made furniture, imported Italian wall tiles, and a massive walk-in closet. It also boasts a beautiful garden and a Ryotei-style dining room fitted with latest amenities.
