Today, we will guide you on how to change the physical appearance of Outlook 2016 with a hidden feature in Office 2016.
With these simple steps, you can switch between the various color scheme options available to users so that you can easily shift between color schemes depending on the lighting setting around you.
Dark grey or black themes are easier on the eyes at night time or in low-light settings for making sure you don’t hurt your eyes from the searing brightness. The default colorful is best suited for well-lit environments, only.

Do keep in mind that Outlook 2016 and the default Mail & Calendar app are completely different applications. One is a built in app and the other is a bundle deal, so there is no need for confusion.
STEP 1:
Start Outlook 2016 by searching for it using Windows Key + S.
STEP 2:
If you already have an account setup, you just need to go to File at the top right of the toolbar.
If you don’t have an email account to link, you can choose the option to add one later and see if Outlook 2016 is to your liking in appearance.
STEP 3:
A new set of options will open up on a toolbar to the left of the screen. Here you are going to click on Options.
STEP 4:
From here, you will get a new window with one of the options being “General” over here you will look for “Office Theme” in a drop down box and choose the color scheme of your liking.
Here you will see four options: Colorful, Dark Gray, Black, and White. Once you have chosen the color scheme to your liking. Simply click on Apply and the result is immediate!
