Ultra-thin credit card-sized FlatLight illuminates for 10 hours continuously

When it comes to flashlights, we’ve seen plenty of innovative ones. Just recently we saw the Gura-pika that lights when earthquake shakes the earth. Amid all flashlights we’ve seen in our time, there was scope for one that fits very easily (without being noticed) in the pocket or purse. Enter FlatLight – an ultra-thin, super bright, fiber optic light that comes in a credit card-size form factor. Developed by Worley Light Worx, the FlatLight is on crowdfunding site Kickstarter, it measure 3.5mm thin and can fit perfectly into a pocket, purse, glove box or toolbox.

Drawing power from two replaceable coin cell batteries, the FlatLight can illuminate up to 10 hours non-stop. The FlatLight’s flat surface and backlit logo are perfect for graphic customization. The circuit board of the FlatLight is made tough to withstand the rough use in the pocket or purse. The light is bright enough to guide you through the darkest alley or even lets you read a book in bed or in a journey, without disturbing your neighbor. Hit the jump to see the FlatLight in action.
