If you’ve got bored with your same old lame skateboard then now it is high time you go for something that is specially designed for urban youth. Although these two skateboards, Dark Matter and Escape Board, by Darko Nikolic are in the concept prototype stage right now but none the less street cool to say the least. So what exactly makes these skateboards designed and developed by Darko that cool? Well, hang on after the jump to learn why.
# Dark Matter skateboard 
Made with a specially enhanced strap system for providing unconditional support and fast progression in urban neighborhood’s this skateboard is made from carbon fiber, Kevlar and other composite materials which lend it toughness more than steel and aesthetics lighter than wood. The textured polyurethane surface makes it suitable for riding with any kind of shoes due to the griptape thereby allowing the rider to explore his/her skills no matter what the conditions are. Wheels of the skateboard are made from high-end 3 ball bearings inside each wheel which not only protects them from environmental effects but also makes sure the skateboard travels long distance with less push. For riding in the dark Dark Matter is engraved with MonoLight Shield and 2 LED diodes powered by rechargeable batteries.
# Escape Board skateboard
Made from transparent polycarbonate layers and special binding system the cool factor about this skateboard is that it produces a levitating effect for the onlookers. Binding transfers the weight to the axels to protect the board from breaking if the rider is performing stunts down the stairs or ledges, while their position right above the trucks provides responsive turning. The griptape makes sure the rider has enough grip to perform extreme stunts and the layered system means that there is no need to replace the complete board in case of damage.
