Metal artist builds robot from discarded Fiat and Chrysler parts

We’ve seen an army of metal robots made from scrap metal, car and motorcycle parts. But what sets the Atomic Robots built from recycled vintage car and motorcycle parts by metal artist Tom Simpson apart from the rest are that these robots are assembled in a way that they are made very different and unique so much so that each of them have their own tale to tell. Fidget with a body made from a 1960 Fiat piston, head crafted from vacuum body of a Chrysler and V8 values flattened out for feet, is a robot that speaks volumes for the detail and quality of Tom’s art. At the ATOMIC ROBOT Co. Fidget is accompanied by robots like Arnie, Sylvester and Earl, all special in their own little ways. Top believes his robots all hail from Scrappion – a planet created by discarded car and motorcycle parts dumped by Earth people.
