If you’re in Japan, make sure you pay a visit to Hiroki Oda Museum of Art in Kama city in Fukuoka, were a life-size replica of the heat hawk, a weapon used by MS-06 Zaku II in the original Mobile Suit Gundam series is on display. The heat tomahawk that will be on display at the Museum of Art from August 18th through October 8th, measures about 7-meters and is designed by the famous mechanical designer Kunio Okawara. There is no word on the material used to make the heat hawk. But besides the heat hawk, the exhibition will also have on display other materials like drawings, models and toys from the Gundam series, created by Okawara. More images after the jump.
