In order for us to achieve the above, we will have to navigate through the Local Group Policy Editor, otherwise known as “gpedit.msc” when we put it in the Run (Windows Key + R) command.

STEP 1:
To begin, you have to open the Run command (Windows Key + R) and search for gpedit.msc.
STEP 2:
A new window will open up with the name of “Local Group Policy Editor“. When you have this window open, navigate to the following directory path way as shown in the image below:
Computer Configuration —> Administrative Templates —> Control Panel —> Personalization.
STEP 3:
Upon reaching Personalization, you will see a window to the right and you have to look for “Do not display the lock screen”
You have to find the following buttons and toggle them from “Not Configured” To “Enabled“. Once you have done so, click on OK and it will instantly save your policy.
With this guide done with, it is best to warn that this works only if you have no password on the system, but want to avoid the hassle of dismissing the lock screen after coming to your workstation, but do be aware that this makes your laptop open to anyone with physical access to it.
With the help of this, you no longer have to move the lock screen out of the way with the mouse, keyboard or touch gesture. Waking the system up or booting into it will bring you straight to the desktop.
Additionally, if you do have a password set on the system, you will no longer see the lock screen and will be directly taken to the password entry screen if you have one set.
