Microsoft Edge’s inclusion in Windows 10 is nothing short of a dream come true for many die-hard Windows fans. This is because Internet Explorer has simply not been good enough when compared with other high-end browsers such as Chrome and Firefox.
Microsoft took a really long time to understand that the Internet Explorer needs to find a high-tech successor. Lets face it, the Internet Explorer series has gone into a spirally downfall since Chrome and Firefox have made their way to the world. This amendment has taken a long time to come but Windows 10 finally brings Microsoft Edge with it. History, as you all know, refers to the collection of data that you have searched for in a browser. Its main purpose is to allow you to go back and look for something you want to access again. This is exactly what bookmarks also do but history keeps a track of everything you’ve browsed for. This can be very handy but also has its cons as well. If anyone gets into your history, that person can get to know each and everything you have browsed for. So, to ensure that does not happen, delete edge history through the following steps:
Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge.
Step 2: In the top right corner, click on the Hub: Favorites, reading list, history and downloads button.
Step 3: Click on the History button.
Step 4: Click on Clear all history as shown in the image below.
Step 5: From the list of options, select what you would like to keep and delete.
Step 6: Click on Clear as shown in the image below.
