Step 1: Create a shortcut of the app whose keyboard shortcut you’d like to make on the desktop.
Step 2: Right-click on that shortcut.
Step 3: From the context menu, select Properties.
Step 4: In the resulting window, click on the Shortcut tab.
Step 5: Click in the text field in front of Shortcut key, then press the key you wish to be the shortcut key for that application and Windows will automatically append CTRL + ALT to it making the complete shortcut become key + CTRL +ALT as shown in the image below.
Step 6: Click on Apply and enjoy your shortcut.
