For any American car lover, Carroll Shelby isn’t an alien name. He may not be amid us, but certainly we will remain amid the Ford fanatics in form of the Shelby Mustang and the Shelby Cobra car and now more prominently, Shelby will also remain a name on select wrists. Courtesy, the David Yurman Revolution Shelby 1000 Limited Edition wristwatch, created in partnership between David Yurman and Shelby.
The revolutionary watch, made to mark the 50th anniversary of the car maker with a cool looking Shelby Cobra themed chronograph and Cobra snake body-like rubber strap, is available in two versions. One, the black vulcanized rubber coated steel David Yurman Revolution Shelby 1000 Limited Edition watch that will be only available in 150 pieces and will fetch $8,600 apiece. The second however, is a 43.5mm wide steel version that is not a limited edition watch, and will cost slightly lesser at $7,200.
The spectacular watches however, have the customary Shelby double racing stripes and cobra on the dial, with a tachymeter on the sides. Fitted inside with a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph, the reverse of the David Yurman Revolution Shelby 1000 watch bears Carroll Shelby’s autograph.
