Remember the excitement associated with the sending of Viking 1 probe that had to take pictures for figuring out the landing site for Viking 2 probe and to everyone’s amazement those pictures revealed a face in the Cydonia Region on the red planet which was three kilometers long. Till date it is not clear as to why that face was carved or made it, but as a tribute to the planet Mars and that very finding, a unique timepiece has been created by Cyrus and famous astronaut watchmaker Jean-Fracois Mojon.
The timepiece named as Cyrus-The Conquest of the planet Mars, comes in two limited edition choices, one in red gold and other in titanium finish with 33 timepieces of each. The watches are marked by a very unique replica of the planet Mars that bulges out from the glass itself and the mysterious face also shown on the watch dial.
Another remarkable bit is the fact that the Red planet inside this watch rotates at the same speed as it does in the solar system, which is 24 hours 37 minutes and 22 seconds which is quite amazing to say the least.
