Crashed police car into a house prank surely turns some heads in Hendersonville

If you happen to visit city of Hendersonville, North Carolina USA and suddenly you see a wrecked cop car bang into a house wall at the corner of Iris Drive & Ingrid Way, don’t call the cops in panic. That is because it is intentionally embedded into the wall to create a false illusion of road rampage gone horribly bad. Tony Aller and his wife Diane got an old 95 Chevy Caprice Chicago taxi cab and started to cut it into half so that they could place it right beside the wall to create the effect, however the illusion wasn’t good enough until they painted it themselves to look like a cop car. There are skid marks painted under the tire, the lights work via a remote and the trunk is rigged up to complete the illusion.

According to Tony in the beginning people would report a car crash to 911 or fire department but later on the authorities ignored any such reports. Now this has become a common site for visitors to just cruise past the house and enjoy the car crash view. According to Tony in the winters when his wife is doing the laundry and the dryer vents release the steam it enhance the effect even further as the car looks like it is idling. The only concern Tony has now with this installation is that he fears that in case there is a real mishap or some tragedy of such kind in the future, local authorities will ignore it for obvious reasons.
