App Review – Ditto: Clipboard Manager

App Review – Ditto: Clipboard Manager (otherwise known as Ditto: Clipboard Manager For Windows 10 )

There are thousands of apps to choose from in the Windows Store today, and it has steadily grown since its introduction as part of the revolutionary Windows 8. With this store, along with live tiles, everything that had previously only been available on the Microsoft smartphones (such as the Lumia) became available to all Windows users.

Now, with Windows 10, the game has changed again. Virtual desktops, Cortana integration, and an even further expanded app store. Numerous apps are becoming available every day that improve the Windows user experience, and here we take a look at one of them in particular. It’s called Ditto: Clipboard Manager.

If you’re working on a big project with a lot of copying and pasting, it means you’ll be using the Windows clipboard a great deal. Enter Ditto: Clipboard Manager for Windows 10. The standard clipboard manager only allows you to copy and paste your most recently copied item. Ditto allows you to access any and all items you have saved to the clipboard, keeping track of all them with a remarkably easy-to-use UI.

So, how does it work? Well, once you’ve installed it, run it from the source directory or click the icon on the right-hand side of the Windows taskbar (at the bottom of your screen, given default Windows 10 settings). Once you’ve copied a selection of text or anything else, it will automatically appear in the Ditto interface. As you copy new things, the old selections remain in the Ditto clipboard manager, and if you want your “Paste” function to paste one of these old selections, simply select it from the list in the manager and paste away!

To use it, simply copy anything from anywhere and it will be added to Ditto automatically like this.
