At the 39th Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition the Muscle Actuator Motor Company showed off their body waste removal and body lifter system that would come as a boon for aging people who need special care due to any ailment that has affected their body in a big way. Robohelper robots help the caregivers and the person who is bed ridden to stay clean at all times without special attention 24×7. The Robohelper Love device is a U-shaped cup that fits between the legs of the person and has a sensor which activates as soon as there is any sign of urinating or pooping, setting into action a suction mechanism. All the waste is then moved away from body; the bidet spray cleans the portion and later blow-dries it too. All the waste is then moved into a waste tank and the suction pump can be sterilized later on to keep things clean and clear at all times.
Such kind of products are trending in countries like Japan where the major chunk of population is over the age of 50 and the insurance schemes also permit the use of such machines on rented bases. The lifting by Robohelper Sasuke device is done using servo motors and a sling connected to two rods can be slid under the body easily.
