While exploring Windows 10, I came across a lot of features which we do not generally tend to use that much. They are only there if, out of the blue, we feel like doing something different. Although we have power outlets all around us, we tend to charge our phone from our laptops via the USB cable. It saves us from the trouble of getting up every once in a while to attend it while at work. Many a times we tend to leave our laptop during work and go out for some refreshments only to come back and see that the laptop has slept and our phone has stopped charging. If you don’t want to see this sight again, follow the steps below to charge your phone while your laptop is closed.
Step 1: Type Device Manager in Windows Search and open it.
Step 2: Double click on Universal bus serial controller.
Step 3: Double click on each USB root hub option one by one.
Step 4: In the resulting window, click on power management ..
Step 5: For each, un-check the option that says Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power as shown in the image below.
