When you are in a relationship, miss your friends or your family; even the slightest sign that your lover is missing you can be a comforting feeling. Ring U (Mini-Hug Ring) is one such new age gizmo that will make your love for the other significant one even more worth cherishing as it lightens up as soon as the other person starts missing you. This way you’ll feel the presence of that other person, with a sense of eternal attachment even when you two are not physically present near each other, in a way making it the world’s only telepresence hugging ring. Ring U is made specifically to transmit the touch sense digitally to the other ring via an app, which then transmits the signal through your smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 ring communication. The Ring U gizmo has three types of hug; namely Intense Hug, Urgent Hug or the popular Mini Hug which can be long hug, series of hugs or short hug respectively.
The ring has a LED light which can glow in any of the 5 different colors; green, blue, yellow, red or orange depending on your choice. For example if you are in a serious relationship the color of light can be set to red. Via the application one can send accompanied message, photos, videos or anything else that strengths your relationship as the Ring U synchronizes perfectly with the app itself. All you have to do is, simply open the Ring U application interface and then choose from the options to send a telepathic hug.
For now the app will have compatibility with iPhone 3GS/4/4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch and later on compatibility with Android phones will be added on. At this point in time Ring U is in working prototype stage and with your able support it will be able to make it to production if it gets through the initial crowd-funding at CampFire.
