A new feature in Insider Preview Build 14361 released by Microsoft allows users of the build to install the LastPass extension on Microsoft Edge. You can download the extension right now from Microsoft’s developer website [Download link].
The allowance of Extensions in Microsoft Edge came to be as of Insider Preview Build 14342. If you are curious on how to install the extension you simply need to follow the instructions below:
- Download and install the extension of your choice from the Windows Store the same way you would download an app.
- When you have done so, open up Microsoft Edge and give the extension the necessary permissions it needs by selecting Turn on.
The extension will now be up and running on Microsoft Edge, ready to manage your passwords.
While the library of extensions is limited to many proprietary extensions of Microsoft, recently there has been a significant influx of some quality extensions such as the addition of AdBlock and AdBlock Plus.
