If you’re a frequent traveler or a die-hard football follower, read on to add additional clocks for different time zones in Windows 10 to help you keep track of things thousands of miles away.
Time. Some say it is the best healer. Some say it is the only wealth that you cannot save. Whatever you choose to call it, its importance in today’s world cannot be denied. As minute to win it people say, every second counts and boy it does. Whether it’s a submission deadline or an app’s performance, even the delay of one second can lead to them not meeting expectations.
Windows 10 has come in with a load of handy features that assist us in various situations e.g Quick Access etc. While there were some illogical absentees from its more simpler and accessible features, it hustled to put more on the table than it has taken away. Another of those features is the ability to add additional clocks for different time zones.
This feature can be really handy if you follow football or any other sport that is due to telecast live in a country far far away e.g Spanish La Liga or The Barclays Premier :eague. So that you do not lose track of time. Follow the steps after the jump to add additional clocks.
First, click on Date on the Taskbar. From the resulting fly out, click on ‘Date and time settings’.
Then, at the bottom of the resulting window under ‘Related Settings’, click on ‘Add clocks for different time zones’.
From the resulting window, check the box that says ‘Show this clock’. If you wish to have 2 clocks, check them both.
From the list of time zones under ‘Select time zone’, select your preferred time zone and if you wish to give it a more understandable name, rename it under ‘Enter display time’ as shown below. That is the name that will appear above the clock.
Finally, click on apply and then click on Date in the Taskbar to see the changes applied as shown in below.
Beautiful isn’t it? As always, we’re happy to help.
