Aero Peek is another one of the features that belong to the Aero family. Read on to discover how you can enable Aero Peek in Windows 10.
Did You Know About These Other Aero Features?
Aero features are some of the distinct Windows features that define the word accessibility. They are extremely intuitive and have received unanimous appreciation from users around the world for their implementations.
The first well known Aero feature was the Aero Glass. It was a beautiful glassy design implemented on the borders and title bar of different windows. It replaced the old Luna theme of Windows XP and its popularity ensured that it was included in Windows 7 as well. Windows 10, rather disappointingly, ditched it due to unknown reasons which further adds to its unpopularity.
Another of the Aero group of features is the Aero Snap which is a tool that can be used to align different windows on the screen to ensure maximum number of windows can be accommodated. It can be implemented through registry manipulation which is also a nice thing to have hanging around in your computer.
Next is the Aero Shake. It is considered as the best of all Aero features out there. When multiple windows are opened on your desktop, you can simply minimize all of them by grabbing a window (which you’re working with currently) and shaking it from left to right.
Getting Aero Peek Back On Windows 10
Next up in this long line of intuitive features is the Aero Peek. Whenever you’re working with multiple windows opened in maximum size, sometimes you feel like checking something out on your desktop. Instead of closing or minimizing all of them one by one, you can simply enable aero peek to help you do that. Note that it is turned off by default and you simply need to turn it on to use it again. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: Right click on your Taskbar.
Step 2: From the resulting context menu, click on Properties.
Step 3: Check the box that says Use peek to preview desktop when you move your mouse to the show desktop button at the end of the taskbar as shown in the image below.
Not only can you use aero peek with your mouse, you can also press Windows+’,’ to work with it as well.
