Microsoft To Push Windows 10 More Aggressively To Windows 7/8 Users Soon

If a well renowned developer is to be believed, Microsoft is flexing it’s muscles to push windows 10 more aggressively on Windows 7/8 users soon.

Windows 10 in some ways is possibly the best Windows ever. It houses some very exciting features such as a beautiful UI, where everything from the titlebar’s text size to the taskbar’s thumbnails can be customized, to exclusive Aero features such as Aero peek and Aero Shake.

The features just not end there as our old pal a.k.a registry editor gives us much more to play with it. While these maybe a handful for some users, Windows 10 was received by a somewhat critical reception. Granted the Virtual Desktops, Cortana integration and Microsoft Edge were some of the things Windows should’ve had ages ago, many users have upped their frustration about the new OS not performing well at all.

It has been continually bullying them with some bugs that affect everyday usage such as Wi-Fi connectivity issues, taskbar stops responding and some very strange changes in the functionality of some features that were previously just a click away.

All this discontent has led many a users around the world to look for ways to stop getting upgraded to Windows 10 from their previous builds. This certainly did not go down well with Microsoft as their targets for Windows 10 started seeing a stagnation. To make amends, Microsoft is planning to exert its authority by pushing Windows 10 more aggressively to Windows 7/8 users soon.

According to a renowned developer, this step is a means to ensure Windows 10 upgrade on ALL Windows users. Whether they like it or not, its gonna happen sooner rather than later. Josh Mayfield, creator of the GWX Control Panel which is a software that stops update to Windows 10 from Windows 7/8, says that the ‘AllowOSUpgrade’ command in Windows update’s directory automatically switches back to on even if turned off by the user manually.

Not only this, it re-scans that setting everyday to ensure that it remains turned on so that when Microsoft’s plans to push Windows 10 more aggressively to windows 7/8 users commences, it faces no resurgence at all.

This is certainly not going to go down well with many a users who have planned to see out their lives without Windows 10. Microsoft’s behavior in this case is extremely autocratic which is not a good sign of things to come. Agree? Let us know, we’re all ears.
