Use Cortana To Order Uber From Your PC

If you are a frequent patron of the world’s biggest taxi cab service, then you will be happy to know you can order Uber from your PC thanks to Cortana!

Uber is easily one of the most popular apps that has helped in automating the most dated of human tasks, hailing a cab. While Uber is readily available on most smartphone platforms, it has made the first move towards desktop in a rather convenient manner, by being offered as one of the “connected accounts” in Cortana.

After helping users run programs, Cortana is now capable of hailing you a cab on Uber without the need of using any other device! The steps are relatively simple and easy to do.

STEP 1:

Press Windows Key + S to bring up the search box. Click on the Notebook icon that is highlighted in the below screenshot:

This is indeed a whole new level of Cortana becoming a greater convenience to the desktop user, with the much needed addition of a native Uber integration into Windows 10, she is steadily becoming a Swiss army knife that might soon become an attraction to many Windows 10 users!

Perhaps this is the product of the agreement between Microsoft and Uber earlier this year, this is easily a much welcome feature from the two companies!
