Another day, another cumulative update. KB3124200 is now live and ready to be downloaded from Windows 10 updates!
Having only released KB3116900 a few days ago, Microsoft is hot on the heels of releasing cumulative updates for Windows 10. As of writing this, there are currently no patch notes for the update, just the typical blanket response of “This update offers improved functionality for Windows 10 Version 1511”.
For those of you who are curious, the only real change that can be seen is the upgrade to build 10586.36. (with the previous build being 10586.29) of your current installation of Windows 10, aside from that, there are actually no other bread crumbs for us to follow.
For those of you who are unable to get the update from Windows 10 (Windows Key + S and search for “check for updates“) can directly download the updates by clicking on the following links below:

These links will automatically download the installer for the update and let you readily install the updates on your system without the need of waiting for Windows update to push them, although it is recommended that you wait for your Windows Update to pick up the update first.
This is of course a cumulative update, meaning if you are on a fresh install of Windows or have otherwise missed the previous major cumulative updates, this update contains all the fixes from KB3116900 & KB3116908 etc. So, if you download KB3124200, you are all set and don’t need to download the previous updates.
As always, the update will definitely bring subtle changes that will be discovered by the community, so if you do come across something new in the update that wasn’t present in the preceding updates, we would love to hear a comment from you! rest assured, we will do our share of hounding around the OS too, but considering the magnitude of Windows 10 as an OS, you can be sure that it will be a while for us leave no stone unturned.
