Dartz Motorz Company, high performance armored vehicle manufacturing company based in Latvia is going to mark the year of snake on 30th January (one of the 12 year cycle of animals appearing in Chinese zodiac) with the Black Snake. Being the company’s first ever non-armored monster vehicle based on Mercedes GL 63 AMG having 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine (with 557 hp and torque of 560 lb-ft); Black Snake will only be available in China. Black Snake can reach from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and the AMG Ride Control sports suspension makes sure you have highest level of driving dynamics.
The all-wheel drive of the so called tank car makes it a monster on the road with luxury to die for. It has diamond-encrusted hood ornaments and the seats are made from exotic leather in choice of snake, crocodile, belly, ostrich or whale penis. The floor mats are made from white shark skin and the dashboard, armrests and door paneling comes in snake wood. To celebrate the year of snake there are going to be Dartz badges on the seats that have double topstitching with eye-popping contrasting colors.
The body of Black Snake is made from space aluminum (using Kapsula technology), the radiator grille has golden flourishes and the hood for this Chinese edition Dartz will have a leaf gold formed like snakeskin with an optional diamond hood ornament from Smolensk Kristall if you don’t get empty pocketed buying this car. The price is expected to be $1,000,000 which in a way stacks against the most expensive road cars we have seen so far, like the LykanHypersport 2013 we saw a few days ago.
