GodMode has been a little easter egg that has always been cleverly hidden in the newer Windows OS’s. GodMode is in Windows 10, and is better than before.

This mode allows extensive visual and performance tweaks to be done on your Windows OS that aren’t otherwise accessible.

If you are a power user and are looking to get a little bit more out of your Windows 10 experience, then this mode is definitely one for you to try out.

Contrary to the name, you aren’t quite “Bruce Almighty”, but you still have a lot of power over your Windows, why not carry on the legacy and continue the name of GodMode on to Windows 10?

Let’s get started, shall we?

This is another simple guide, all you have to do is right-click anywhere on your desktop and make a New Folder.

The mentioned code pasted in a folder as its name.

When you have to name your New Folder, copy and paste the following line of code:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Additionally, you have to make sure there is no space after the }. Else, it will give you an error.

Once you named your new file, press enter and see the magic of evolution.

The icon is literally named GodMode.

And when you click on the icon, you will have the following options and MUCH more disposal.

This place is a central location for users to tinker with their Windows settings and allow them to do visual and performance tweaks. Do experiment carefully though, even we don’t know what some of these options do!

What GodMode looks like on first glance.

While the options are indeed intimidating at first, you should at least give it a go and try to find settings which you can understand and apply them to your installation of Windows 10.

You never know what mix and match results can yield you a slight update on the looks or performance of your OS.

People who have used GodMode wisely in Windows 7 and 8 have managed to get advantageous outlooks on their OS performance or look in one or the other, so why not be a little adventurous and see what playing God would feel like to your OS?

This is easily a favorite easter egg in the Windows OSes for us. Let us know in the comments section if any of your favorite easter eggs made it into Windows 10.
